PhD defence

I am a mathematician working in fractal geometry, geometric measure theory, and ergodic theory. My research focuses on the dimension and geometric structure of fractal sets and measures, and on the interplay between geometry and dynamics.

I serve on the editorial boards of Real Analysis Exchange and Communications in Mathematics. Real Analysis Exchange is a peer-reviewed journal devoted to classical real analysis and related areas, such as geometric measure theory and one-dimensional dynamics, while Communications in Mathematics is a diamond open access, arXiv overlay journal covering all areas of mathematics. Submissions to either journal are welcome.

I am also one of the founding organizers of One World Fractals, an online seminar series on fractal geometry and related fields. Together with Jonathan Fraser, Thomas Jordan, Natalia Jurga, Henna Koivusalo, and Sascha Troscheit, I organize the seminar, which meets twice each spring and twice each autumn.
